Kehilat HaPardes: Reform Liberal Judaism in Nature, Pardes Hanna

Kehilat HaPardes is a Reform Jewish and liberal Jewish community in Pardes Hanna, created for people seeking open, egalitarian, and spiritual Judaism in Israel. Our community brings together Reform Judaism, Jewish spirituality, nature, music, and community life in a warm and creative environment.

Our synagogue is not a building – our synagogue is the open sky.

We gather outdoors, among the trees and fields of Pardes Hanna, under a canopy of stars, creating a unique experience of Reform Jewish prayer in nature, musical Kabbalat Shabbat services, and open Jewish learning.

Kehilat HaPardes welcomes women and men from all backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions who are searching for liberal Judaism, egalitarian Jewish community, and meaningful Jewish life in Israel. Families, individuals, couples, and seekers of all kinds are invited to join a shared journey of spiritual exploration, Jewish tradition, and community connection.

Our gatherings include Reform Kabbalat Shabbat services, Jewish holiday celebrations, open Jewish study, and musical prayer circles. Conversations often turn into songs, and songs often turn into prayer. In the quiet beauty of nature, new ideas, melodies, and moments of connection naturally emerge.

Kehilat HaPardes is also a place where people celebrate Jewish life-cycle ceremonies in the spirit of Reform and liberal Judaism, including:

Reform Jewish weddings and egalitarian huppah ceremonies in nature
Reform Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies in Israel
Inclusive Jewish life-cycle ceremonies for families and communities

Our approach blends conversation, prayer, music, and community. Judaism here grows out of real human encounters—through listening, sharing ideas, and creating together. Every gathering is an opportunity to reconnect: with Jewish tradition, with other people, and with the natural world.

After Kabbalat Shabbat or holiday gatherings, we share a community Friday night meal or festive holiday dinner, where everyone brings food to the table. These shared meals, songs, and conversations create a strong sense of belonging.

Kehilat HaPardes is a fully egalitarian Reform Jewish community and proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive. We believe that Jewish life should be open, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.
