Accessibility Statement
An accessible website allows people with disabilities and elderly individuals to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all other users. According to a 2003 study by Microsoft, approximately 20 to 25 percent of the population encounters difficulties when using the internet and can benefit from more accessible web content. "Kehilat HaPardes" believes in and strives for equal opportunities in the digital space for individuals with diverse disabilities and/or those who utilize assistive technologies to operate computers.
Website Accessibility
This website complies with the requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013. The website aligns with the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at Level AA, as well as the WCAG 2.0 recommendations by the W3C organization. Furthermore, the site is optimized for display on common web browsers and mobile devices.
Remediation Measures Performed
Strict accessibility adjustments have been implemented on this website. These include semantic and informative optimization for assistive technologies, keyboard-only navigation and operation in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) recommendations, color adjustments, and the addition of assistive labels and instructions in forms for the benefit of all users. Additionally, for an optimal browsing experience with screen-reading software, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.
Features Implemented on the Website
We have added keyboard navigation to facilitate browsing without a mouse, optimized the site for compatibility with screen readers, enabled options to view the site in grayscale/high contrast, blocked animations and moving elements, and highlighted links.
Please note that despite our best efforts to make all pages on the website accessible, attached documents (such as PDF, Word, Excel), internal management systems, and video files may still be in the process of being made accessible, and we are working to complete this.
Due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally arise as it is updated regularly. We continuously seek solutions to bring all areas of the site to the same level of comprehensive web accessibility.
If you require a document that appears on the website and is currently inaccessible, please contact us with a link to the relevant location, and we will address it promptly.

Physical On-Site Accessibility Arrangements
Most of our events take place in an open valley (Wadi) in Pardes Hana, and the location is accessible. Restrooms are available nearby, with 2-3 steps at their entrance.
